We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to work within our product teams, to understand, collaborate deliver requirements and user stories that help us solve customer problems and continually validate product performance through customer feedback. At the heart you will help us uncover and document operational processes which cross multiple business teams and 3rd parties. These teams support the engagement portals and tools of our Wealth Management clients and underlying investors. As we scale, the optimisation and digitisation of these portals will be imperative to our success so you will be dedicated to helping us identify new technologies, alongside potentially new ways of working. You will have an understanding of technology and an operational background with experience in wealth management back office processing. You will also have strong judgment and communication skills, experienced in agile delivery, and producing high quality analysis documentation is a skill you have mastered. Writing and refining user stories is second nature and you're comfortable and confident working within a scrum team environment. You should also be comfortable and skilled with challenging the status quo and relish the idea of solving hard problems through deep collaboration with customers, colleagues and cross functional teams. You will be part of a team of creative, top-notch software engineers, designers and product professionals, to work hard, have fun, and be a true pioneer in our industry Responsibilities: Assist the software development teams in designing, building and delivering customer centric outcomes. Conduct analysis to aid and guide the development and expansion of our software products. Capture and document user stories, behaviour driven development cases and acceptance criteria in conjunction with peers and other subject matter experts. Conduct gap analysis and provide alternative options and solutions. Document requirements (functional, data and non-functional) and business rule definition in conjunction with relevant subject matter experts in an array of formats such as business and technical process flows, sequence diagrams and user story mapping. Work closely with the team and in conjunction with the product owner to clearly define and prioritise the backlog, leading refinement sessions and user story elaboration. Oversee quality control, testing and be involved in continuous discovery with our clients. Prepare and conduct training where appropriate, working with the implementation and readiness teams to facilitate delivery of product changes to clients. Conduct functional, exploratory and user testing when required. Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, who loves the detail and loves getting in to the weeds of how things work. Strong knowledge of wealth management products and services. Experienced working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work. Experience in product and user story mapping, and to use this knowledge to guide the team in getting the end-product right. Proven ability to gather, organise, synthesise and prioritise large amounts of complex information from various sources and to the appropriate level of detail. Experienced within continuous delivery and integration environments. Excellent and analytical problem solving skills, with a proven ability to identify, define and prioritise business needs/problems/issues, then define/develop/influence feasible solutions. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence and mapping tools such as Visio. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
