Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurance Company based in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a professional Underwriting Assistant. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Processing in-depth mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business and issuing all relevant documentation.
* Preparing and issuing claims listings.
* Liaising with brokers and other departments within the company.
* Assisting trainees and apprentices with processing.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Min 1 year experience of working in an underwriting support role or similar Insurance position.
* Experience in processing midterm adjustments and basic adjustments, and renewal processing.
* Strong understanding of the Insurance industry.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Professional and articulate.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks to a high standard.
* Educated to A Level standard as a minimum (or the equivalent).
