What you’ll do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Writer to join our UK Business, Pre-Sales Commercial Centre of Excellence team, where you will create compelling and persuasive written documents for our UK Business customers to support new logo acquisitions and priority renewals.
1. Create best in class written proposal documentation, ensuring win theme areas are articulated clearly to exceed customers requirements.
2. Assist the Bid / Proposal Manager in developing a high quality proposal structure.
3. Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant, seeking to drive continuous improvements in all we do.
4. Run storyboard sessions with bid / proposal team members, seeking insights and input to aid customer proposal development.
5. Undertake market research for the kick-off and solution meetings.
6. Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts including sales, marketing, product, finance, commercial and legal editing proposal responses as required in strive for commercial excellence.
Who you are
Demonstrable experience of success within proposal writing with sample of reference points in a Bid Management team.
Understanding of proposal formats, such as RFPs, RFQ, and RFIs with a passion for high quality content creation.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and clearly demonstrate how Vodafone’s solution is best placed to meet them.
Excellent ability to manage time and prioritisation working under tight deadlines.
Ability to build relationships, communicate and influence a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of proposal automation software is ideal.
