If you are looking for a role where you will be valued and rewarded with a competitive salary, we want to hear from you The Role: As a Reactive Electrical Engineer/Qualified Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional reactive maintenance and supervising a team of engineers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the office team. You will be the face of the company, providing a first-class service to their customers while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Work to a planned maintenance schedule. Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose faults. Conduct repair and maintenance work to a high standard. Independently source materials for required work. Ensure compliance with doorstep selling regulations and complete relevant customer paperwork accurately. Provide professional recommendations and quotations to customers. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out. Assess risks and report findings to management. Identify personal and job-related training needs. Uphold our health and safety policies, contributing suggestions for improvement. Hours & Benefits: Full-time position (Monday – Friday). Competitive salary of £49,000 per annum. Company vehicle, PPE, equipment, and uniform provided. Locations of work: Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Oxford, Gloucester, and Worcester Essential Qualifications & Experience: Fully Qualified NVQ Level 3 Time Served Electrician. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations / BS7671:2018. Inspection and Testing City & Guilds 2394/5 or 2391 OR EAL 4337/4338. NVQ in Electro-technical Services – Electrical Installation (Buildings & Structures) (C&G 2355 or 2356 or EAL equivalent). Strong background in domestic electrical fault finding, repair, installation, testing, and inspection. Proven experience supervising engineers. Previous experience in a private domestic reactive maintenance role is desirable. Experience pricing up work and identifying leads and upselling where appropriate. Full UK Driving Licence (checked electronically before company vehicle issue and annually thereafter). Required Skills & Attributes: Strong understanding of industry standards, legislation, and compliance requirements. Positive and proactive approach with excellent people skills. Highly organised, effective, and confident communicator. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to safe working practices. Existing NICEIC registration is desirable but not essential
