The purpose of this role will be to support the Financial Planners and Administrators in an effective and professional manner whilst working towards the company vision and objectives. You provide the technical expertise to support the advisers in delivering the best value to clients whilst being responsible for drafting all written communications to clients and as such are the “voice” of the business in terms of tone of voice and language as well as being responsible for all the quantitative content of the bespoke Financial Plans. You always ensure you have sufficient qualitative and quantitative information from the adviser to enable you to write client centered, compliant and complete financial plans using all the available technical systems to the best of their potential, review and update the business centralised and low-cost propositions, whilst undertake project work as and when required. Your key responsibilities will include: Client information – for both new and existing clients Liaise with the Financial Adviser to understand the client’s objectives whether this is for new or existing clients Receive client file notes from advisers and ensure you have sufficient information to be clear about what the client is trying to achieve, what they have and what might need to change Provide critical thought to ensure fact finds, client questionnaires and meeting notes fully support the advice given and use suitable research tools to provide quantitative backup for these conclusions Identify and obtain the information necessary to complete financial cash flow forecasts Client meetings You are responsible for all the technical aspects of preparing for Client meetings. In addition, your role provides a second line of thinking to ensure the advice given to the clients is appropriate for their needs. Research both independently and with the adviser to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs Analyse new/existing client policy information, interpreting it to form an interim analysis for the client, and comparing plans and performance Compile financial planning recommendations and suitability reports Liaise with product providers and other relevant third parties Provide support for the advisers allowing them to focus on client relationships Assist the advisers with client presentations including attending client meetings with them when this would be helpful for the client Respond to ad hoc technical questions from clients and advisers Report writing Draft the full financial plan for new clients using house style and always thinking about how the content is relevant to the client. You are particularly responsible for ensuring the technical information and data are translated into language and story that is appropriate for the client’s level of expertise Populate and manipulate cash flow modelling software to understand the implications of various scenarios identified as part of client meetings and incorporate the findings into the reports Complete draft net worth statements and financial cash flow forecasts and discuss with adviser Following client planning meetings, produce the final report from Truth and incorporate the updated information including charges for the previous period into the annual financial plan for the adviser to check and send to the clients.
