To provide Assistant child psychotherapist support to the Trauma and Resilience Service
The Band 5 AssistantChild Psychotherapist will have a significant role in the development and delivery of one to one and therapeutic group interventions offered to the under supervision of a qualified. Child psychotherapist They will also be involved in the assessment and delivery of focused interventions with clients as appropriate under supervision of a qualified. Child psychotherapist
To assist in the delivery of one to one and therapeutic groups with multi-disciplinary colleagues.
To work with other staff to assess and develop individualised intervention / treatment plans and review their care.
To assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychotherapeutic treatment and/or management of a client’s problems.
To assist in the development of a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, across all settings where care takes place.
To attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and attend relevant clinical meetings.
To communicate effectively and sensitively with service users, their families and carers, other professionals and agencies, and to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
