Location: Bolton

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 3 shift pattern – 6-2, 2-10, 10-6
Job Summary:
A well established and highly successful Automotive components manufacturer is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to complete a very successful engineering function on their Monday to Friday shift rotation. As the maintenance engineer, you will work alongside their established team to ensure plant downtime remains minimal. You will also be actively involved in all planned maintenance, continuous improvement, and project-related work.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
1. PPM
2. Reactive Maintenance on fast-paced industrial machinery
3. Electrical Breakdowns and Repairs
4. PLC fault-finding
5. Participate in continuous improvement projects, installations, etc.
In Order to be Successful:
* Recognised apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Experience of working within a manufacturing or production facility.
* Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications.
* Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance activities.
* PLC/robot fault finding (full training given throughout the plant).
