JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Newport, Gwent (NP20)
PAY RATE: £12.00 - £12.70* per hour

About Manor Lodge:
We provide support at varying levels, depending on the assessed needs of the individual, designed specifically to accommodate the complex needs of a wide range of people, including those with Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health needs. Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training; however, enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day is required to ensure we support people to live happy and healthy lives.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:
* Prompting service users' independence while helping them live a fulfilling life
* Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping
* Assisting with personal care (depending on service user)
* Assisting with domestic tasks, including cleaning and cooking
