With manufacturing facilities in Victoria (Epping & Maryborough), New South Wales (Kirrawee), Queensland (Nerang), South Australia (Dublin) and multiple sales and distribution offices Nationally, due to continued business growth, an excellent opportunity now exists for an accomplished and well experienced Food Manufacturing leader, to become our new Production Manager of our main site located in Epping, VIC.

The Opportunity :
This new senior opportunity will see your responsibilities to be wide ranging with some of the main tasks for this role being (but not limited to) :
* Maintain a highly engaged workforce (70+ direct reports) with a fundamental culture of continuous improvement, quality, passion, respect and innovation.
* Actively manage the manufacture of quality food products that meet stringent customer and company expectations.
* Manage the Manufacturing operations on site ensuring product is made in full, on time and within budget.
* Safe and secure operation of the site, ensuring the safety and protection of all employees, contractors, visitors and assets at all times.
* Effective collection of relevant KPI's and interpretation / reporting of same to drive and implement 5s & other continuous improvement principles.
* Closely monitor and report site performance in the areas of production, maintenance and quality.
Who we are looking for :
Ideally, to be considered for this role, you will already be in a Site, Plant or Factory Management position, or be looking to take that next step in your career based on a solid track record to date. You will come from a manufacturing background from within the Foodservice, Beverage or FMCG sector and have an unblemished track record of safety, continuous improvement and innovation based cultures.
To therefore be considered for this opportunity, we are seeking to hear from applicants who possess :
* 5+ years experience in leading a manufacturing site to achieve production targets and growth strategies. Foodservice, Beverage or FMCG manufacturing experience a clear benefit.
* In-depth experience in driving and delivering process improvement activities with the ability to build and maintain high level client, site and stakeholder relationships.
* Proven skills and experience in people leadership and the expertise to develop a positive culture and motivate a team.
* Proven experience in consistently delivering results, and exceeding service and budget targets with superior analytical and problem solving ability.
* Proven planning, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide and / or coach others in the resolution of problems.
