Strategic Planning Graduate

Salary: £31,000, rising to £32,250 in the second year.
Location: London/ Hybrid
Hybrid working allows a balance of 50% of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period.

What will I be doing?
Your two-year development programme will consist of four placement rotations:
Placement 1 – Strategy and Planning
This team sets the strategic direction of the city’s transport, focusing on achieving net zero carbon for road transport by 2030.
Placement 2 – Local Communities and Partnerships
This team builds connections with London’s diverse communities and stakeholders to inform future transport decisions.
Placement 3 – Spatial Planning
This team integrates land use and transport planning to address London’s biggest challenges.
Placement 4 – Chief Customer and Strategy Office
This placement provides insight into governance processes and the opportunity to shadow the Chief Customer and Strategy Officer.
Qualifications and Career Progression
Graduates can pursue various roles such as City Planner, Business Strategy Planner, and Strategy & Problem Solving Officer.
