The Opportunity:
Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Requirements: Graduates with a predicted or achieved grade of 2:2 or above in any Honours degree
Ideal for: Aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, and SEN teachers
Responsibilities: 1-2-1 and small group work
Location: Secondary school in Bournemouth
Commitment: Full-time roles, Monday to Friday
Duration: ASAP or Jan 2025
The Successful Candidate will:
Be enthusiastic, confident, and approachable
Possess strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A* - C)
Work effectively as part of a large team
Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills
Inspire and motivate students in the classroom
Hold high expectations and be committed to helping all students reach their full potential
Deliver well-structured lessons for small groups and 1:1 sessions
Be flexible and self-motivated
Role Responsibilities:
Support students during class-based activities
Work with small groups both inside and outside the classroom
Lead 1:1 sessions
Assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up class activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
