If so, we would love to hear from you Our Shared Lives service enables households in Bath & North East Somerset to provide support for people who have additional needs this could be as full-time, respite or day support. The distinguishing feature of Shared Lives is that the support is based from the carer s home. The coordinator fulfils an essential role in assessing new households and then supporting them on an on-going basis to ensure they provide an excellent service. About the role: Our coordinators develop and maintain the scheme s relationship with carer households, from the point of a person enquiring to the scheme about providing support to successfully registering them as a carer and matching them with one or more clients. Shared Lives enables the person supported to be part of a home, household and community. Our coordinators ensure that our carers are working consistently to include a person as much as possible. This includes attention to the support and wellbeing of the person and the carer to ensure that arrangements are sustainable.
