This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to step into a leadership role at a fast-growing, nationally recognised law firm.
The firm specialises in personal injury, clinical negligence, and Court of Protection law, with offices across the North West and beyond. As Court of Protection Partner, you’ll play a key strategic role in shaping and expanding the department, driving the firm’s continued success in this practice area. You’ll have the autonomy to implement new initiatives, manage operational needs, and lead a talented team, all while maintaining a reduced caseload of complex, high-value deputyship and trust matters.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced Court of Protection leader who:
1. Is a qualified solicitor with the necessary experience to be appointed as a Director of the Trust Corporation.
2. Has proven experience leading a Court of Protection team, including recruitment, training, and team development.
3. Has extensive experience in Deputyship and Trust matters, including pre- and post-settlement cases.
4. Is confident in managing budgets, performance targets, and operational strategies.
5. Can coach, develop, and support other lawyers and managers to drive productivity and growth.
6. Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
7. Is technology literate, with an interest in using technology to enhance legal services.
