Exciting Pharmacist posts/training opportunities are available for enthusiastic and forward-thinking pharmacists to join our friendly and supportive team of pharmacy staff in North Wales. There are different programmes available - hospital only and dual sector combined with community or primary care. Working as part of our integrated clinical pharmacy and dispensary teams, you will have direct involvement in patient care and influence treatment choices by being involved in decision-making at the point of prescribing.
Whilst in post, there will be opportunities to undertake postgraduate pharmacy courses. The department has close links with Cardiff, Bangor & Glyndwr Universities.

Main duties of the job
* Provide a safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to allocated clinical area.
* Undertake professional clinical pharmacist's duties as per rota, including the provision of on-call.
* Provide pharmaceutical advice and support within both primary and secondary care services as required.
* Develop, encourage, and promote evidence-based, cost-effective use of medicines.
* Assist in providing clinical training and supervision of other pharmacy staff.
* To be involved in the development and delivery of practice research.
