We are seeking a passionate and motivated kaimahi to be part of our community-based Health team - Te Ara Waiora, CHB.
The Role
You will provide educational support to whānau, helping them to achieve their goals through the delivery of programmes, referrals to services and guiding them to independence. You will coordinate and facilitate various programs focused on healthy lifestyles, aligned with national health promotion initiatives.
We seek a reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate kaimahi who shares our vision to enhance the wellbeing of whānau in the Central Hawkes Bay community.
This is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm with the occasional weekend mahi supporting and promoting our services at local community events.
What we are looking for:

* Experience in supporting individuals and whānau
* Local community connections
* Confident, friendly, and effective communicator
* Empathy and rapport with diverse communities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical databases i.e Indici
* Non-smoker and physically active
* Proficiency in Te Reo and understanding of tikanga
* A positive attitude, uses initiative, proactive and self-motivated
Qualification
* Certificate in Health Promotion or similar (desirable)
