Bright Futures, Inspired By You. Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our Team at our Olympus School, based in Croydon. You will be teaching children aged 11-18 in a specialist SEN and SEMH setting, for this role we will need you to have the QTS or QTLS qualification. Olympus is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in South Croydon, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 11-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs. At Horizon Care and Education, our teachers will be supported by our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, Operational Directors and the Managing Director of Education Services as well as our extensive therapeutic team. What we’re looking for from you: QTS or QTLS Qualification Have proven teaching and learning experience Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience. Be an outstanding classroom practitioner. Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard. Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills. Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs. Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education. Why work for us?
