Responsibilities:
* Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
* Confidently handle all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
* Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
* Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
* Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
* Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
* Embrace the Marriott culture.
Requirements:
* Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
* Has an excellent level of spoken and written English.
* Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards; anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs; assists individuals with disabilities; thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
* Able to work independently and within a team.
* Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
* Has a flexible approach to working hours including evenings, weekends & bank holidays.
