Teaching Assistant – Pupil Referral Unit

Teaching Personnel are seeking a teaching assistant to work in one of our patterner Pupil Referral units, this is a challenging and rewarding role. Working in a dedicated school, to promote a healthy learning environment with the shared goal of enrolling all learners to mainstream education. This purpose-built Pupil Referral Unit, will allow you the opportunity to play a big part in learners school development, working with KS1- KS4.
Location: Swansea
Hours: 08:30am to 15:30pm
Pay: 83.85 per day
Start: Immediately
Contract: Full-Time
The right candidate will be confident in their communication skills, with a strong ability to challenge behaviour, and deescalate situations maintains a patient and calm approach – prioritising safeguarding.
You will work 1:1, creating a strong rapport with learners and motivating them to remain engaged.
You will work with the teacher to ensure the upkeep, and moral of the classroom. You will also assist the teacher with preparing and presenting learning material.

Full Driving License (Preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
