About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager to lead our online sales strategy and drive growth across our direct-to-consumer channels.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of online shopping in a company that thrives on growth and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for managing key online storefronts, including our Student Store and Employee Portals, targeting over 23 million potential customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in eCommerce within retail, technology, or FMCG, and expertise in data analytics tools, with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
You will be a driving force behind new propositions and sales strategies that excite customers and maximise sales potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* eCommerce Focus: Optimising the digital shopping experience through data-driven insights and cutting-edge propositions.
* Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to deliver outstanding results, ensuring every touchpoint of the customer journey is seamless, engaging, and optimised for conversion.
* Strategic Impact: Work directly with senior stakeholders and category managers to align offers, promotions, and product launches with broader company goals.
* Innovation: Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and customer engagement.
* Sales Strategy & Growth: Own the sales strategy, delivering on targets and KPIs through smart promotional roadmaps, product launches, and innovative customer propositions.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Build strong partnerships with marketing, analytics, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of your strategy across all platforms.
* Data-Driven Excellence: Leverage eCommerce data and analytics tools to drive insights and continuously optimise commercial performance.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong experience in eCommerce within retail, technology, or FMCG.
* Expertise in data analytics tools, with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
* Ability to manage P&L impacts of sales promotions and devise strategic recommendations.
* Great communicator with a flair for cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficiency in Excel, and experience with digital marketing and web merchandising.
