An opportunity has arisen to join our successful Thrive Barnsley Service as a Bank Worker covering waking night shifts, various shifts during office hours, and weekend shifts as and when needed.
About the role
Thrive Barnsley supports adults with a range of complex issues and a history of failed tenancies and/or repeat homelessness. We support people to move on from temporary and supported accommodation into permanent tenancies. In addition, the service supports clients whose tenancies are at risk, to prevent homelessness.
Your role will be to provide support for the residents during the shift, which will include:
1. Supporting Service User residents to meet the requirements of the occupancy,
2. Supporting void turnaround,
3. Assisting in coordinating/reporting repairs,
4. Room and building inspections,
5. Admission and exit support to clients,
6. Rent collection & guidance,
7. Housing benefit support & guidance.
