About the role
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking for a role that can offer stability and the chance to have a real say in the health and safety team. This role has arisen due to strategic growth, and they are now looking for a middle management team, with the potential to progress into a head of health & safety position in the long term. Within this role, you will report to the Compliance Director and work closely with the Operations Director, both of whom are approachable, switched on, and easy to work with.
The projects are mostly in Cumbria and South West Scotland, including factories, new builds, highways diversions, and new bridges, with project values up to £35M.
Rewards and Benefits
You will receive a salary of between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience. The package will also include a car or a car allowance, a pension, and private healthcare.
About the requirements
At least 3 years of experience working in Health and Safety is required. To be considered for this position, you must have experience in Civil Engineering for tier 1 or tier 2 companies with strong stability. It is important to have worked for each of your previous companies for at least 3 years.
A NEBOSH general certificate is vital, as is a UK driving license to travel between sites as required.
