Job Overview: 10 Dollar Shake is a bar operator and events company, accredited as a Real Living Wage provider. We are looking for confident and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing hospitality agency roster. As an ad-hoc team member, you'll have the opportunity to work at a variety of indoor and outdoor events, including corporate functions, weddings, private parties, music festivals, and even whisky distilleries. This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires excellent customer service skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient and attentive service to our clients and their guests, creating a rapport and exceeding their expectations. Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, according to the venues drinks list and recipe specifications. Stock Management: Assist with the set-up, restock and breakdown of the bar, ensuring an adequate supply of glassware, stock and other essential items. Cash & Digital Payment Handling: Process till payments accurately, handling all cash and digital transactions in a correct and trustworthy manner. Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the responsible service of alcohol and all aspects of alcohol licensing, such as Challenge 25 and ID checks. Teamwork: Work effectively as part of small and large teams, achieving high standards and an efficient service during busy periods. Event Support: Assist with setting up and closing down bars at events, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and stored. During the event, the bar area should be clean, tidy and well-maintained at all times. Skills & Experience Required: Previous Experience: Prior experience working as bar staff, bartenders or in a hospitality-related role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided. Customer Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality service. Ability to Work Under Pressure: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, especially during busy times. Flexible and Reliable: Willingness to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation is a plus. Mileage for remote locations will be paid too. Age Requirement: Age 18 and have the right to work in the UK. Personal Presentation: Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to the dress code provided by the venue or agency.
