About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrician to join our Repairs team covering Guinness homes in Cornwall.
We're a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician, but you'll also have great attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
This is a full time, permanent role, covering various location within Cornwall working 39 hours per week Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be subject to undertaking call out duties on a rota.
Please note: This is a mobile role which is key to supporting the wider team therefore a full driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is required.
We are looking for a motivated individual who:
Has certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
Has proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v.
Has the ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
Has the ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
Is experienced with working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
Can work in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
Has the ability to carry out physical tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Has good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
Can demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.
Essential qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 (or Equiv.)
17 th /18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2360.

*Your Welcome Bonus is payable in 2 parts. £500 is paid in your first month's salary and £500 is paid when you pass your probation. To be eligible for the Welcome Bonus you must be an external applicant and not currently employed by The Guinness Partnership.
This position will require a basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
