About the role
Are you ready to take your payroll and benefits expertise to the next level? We're looking for a Payroll & Rewards Administrator to join our dynamic Finance team in Bristol. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in managing and administering our rewards programs, supporting payroll operations, and helping shape the future of in-house payroll management.
What You'll Do
Rewards Administration:
* Own the administration of our rewards platforms, including EV Car Scheme, Private Medical, Cycle to Work, and SAYE/BAYE.
* Coordinate key activities such as Cycle to Work openings (April & October).
* Maintain the Simplyhealth portal by updating records for new starters and leavers.
Payroll Support:
* Assist the Payroll Manager in aligning outsourced payrolls and integrating them in-house.
* Oversee CHAPS payments, period-end reviews, and payroll processing.
* Ensure accurate monthly reporting, Real-Time Information submissions to HMRC, and compliance with statutory deadlines.
* Provide cover for payroll processing during holidays and sickness.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
* Work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to provide accurate data and insights.
* Act as a stand-in for the Payroll Manager when required.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
* Support pay awards, back-pay calculations, and year-end processing.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing rewards platforms and payroll processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
* Analytical and numerate, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* The ability to work effectively to deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
