Job Title: Test Manager / Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Manager with Data Migration experience and a Quality Automation Specialist to join our team. The roles require immediate availability and the successful candidates will play a key role in delivering test activities for our Migration project and creating test automation frameworks in a regulated environment within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
Responsibilities
* Deliver test activities for the Migration project while working closely with the Senior QM / Testing Lead.
* Take ownership to resolve blockers and challenges to help achieve testing timescales in a time-critical project.
* Create test automation frameworks in a regulated environment within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
* Work with Streaming & Batch technology stack including Confluent, Streamsets, IBM CDC, Hive, Hadoop, API, Informatica, and Airflow.
* Design and architect test automation solutions, with the ability to creatively problem solve.
* Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues using modern programming/scripting languages.
* Set up Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using GitLab Runners.
* Communicate effectively with global distributed delivery teams across the UK and India.
* Understand and implement E2E Testing processes (functional and non-functional) in a Scaled Agile delivery.
* Integrate JIRA / Zephyr with Selenium or other frameworks.
* Automate test documentation and generate Test Completion Documents from JIRA/Excel or similar sources.
* Set up, administer, and configure AWS PostGres & Grafana to store and visualise test results.
Essential Skills
* Experience as a Test Manager with Data Migration experience.
* Strong SQL skills and experience with Informatica or relevant ETL technology stack.
* Good stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in creating test automation frameworks in a regulated environment within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
* Experience with Streaming & Batch technology stack including Confluent, Streamsets, IBM CDC, Hive, Hadoop, API, Informatica, and Airflow.
* Strong hands-on skills in modern programming/scripting languages.
* Knowledge of Public cloud technologies including AWS EKS, EC2, S3 Buckets, Athena, Lambda, and Glue.
* Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Understanding of E2E Testing processes in a Scaled Agile delivery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Hands-on experience with integrating JIRA / Zephyr with Selenium or similar frameworks.
* Ability to automate test documentation and generate Test Completion Documents from JIRA/Excel or similar sources.
* Experience in setting up, administering, and configuring AWS PostGres & Grafana.
