Job Opportunity: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Duration: September 2024 to December 2025
Salary: £36, 745 to £40,100 (dependednt on teacher scale and experience)
We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024 to December 2025 at a prestigious girls' secondary school located in Richmond Upon Thames. The ideal candidate will be able to teach all three sciences to Key Stage 4 students and possess excellent classroom management skills.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging anf interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and promotes academic excellence
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
Assess students progress, provide feedback, and track academic performance
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status with the ability to teach all three sciences to KS4
Strong classroom management skills and experience in maintaing a positive learning environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues
Availability for an interview as soon as possible is preferred
We offer a competitive salary for the position of Science Teacher (Maternity Cover) at our girls' secondary school in Richmond Upon Thames. The final salary will be determined based on the teacher scale and relevant experience of the successful candidate.
