Our client, a large Defence supplier, is looking for an Electronics Test Technician to join them on a permanent basis at their site in Farnborough.

Our client, a large Defence supplier, is seeking an Electronics Test Technician for a permanent position at their Farnborough site.
* Applicants must be sole British nationals and eligible for SC Clearance due to the role's nature.
* Fully onsite in Farnborough.
The role involves troubleshooting to component level using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), circuit diagrams, and debug software. You will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for fault finding on RF modules and complex CCA's, performing assembly/testing of highly complex military communication assemblies. The role may also involve some design/development and process improvements for new products within tight deadlines.

The responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with departments (Operations, Test, Troubleshoot, Manufacturing Engineering, QA, Program Management) to ensure success
* Assisting with the preparation of production test procedures based on engineering specifications
* Supporting cost reduction initiatives and identifying problem areas in testing
Required experience and skills:
* Strong knowledge of job area, typically obtained through advanced education and experience
* Broad component-level troubleshooting skills
* RF or Digital CCA knowledge and experience (desirable)
* Radio communications background or experience
* HNC/HND/Graduate Degree with significant related experience
