We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern to join our European Back Office Sales Operations Support team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, tender management, and data analysis while working closely with various departments. Typical Tasks and Responsibilities of the European Back Office Sales Operations Support team include, but are not limited to:
1. Tender Management : Researching, evaluating, and preparing tender documents in alignment with Agilent’s sales strategy.
2. Documentation Management : Preparing and handling administrative, technical, and economic documentation for tenders.
3. Collaboration : Working with Sales Account Managers and other partners to develop tender response strategies and create bid packages.
4. Data and CRM Management : Leading data and CRM updates, creating analyses using tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Forecasting and Vendor Evaluation : Enabling more accurate forecasting capabilities and evaluating third-party services and solutions.
6. Data Communication : Extracting and elaborating data related to service parameters and communicating findings to different partners.
7. Administrative and Project Support : Participating in various administrative and project management tasks.
Intern Responsibilities:
8. Support the team in the above tasks and responsibilities.
9. Assist in the preparation and management of tender documents and other administrative tasks.
10. Collaborate with team members to develop tender response strategies and create bid packages.
11. Help manage data and CRM updates and create analyses using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
12. Assist in enabling more accurate forecasting capabilities and evaluating third-party services and solutions.
13. Regularly extract and elaborate data related to service parameters and communicate findings to different partners.
14. Participate in various administrative and project management tasks based on your experience and interests.
Qualifications
15. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
16. Proficiency in English; knowledge of German (for students applying out of Germany and/ or the Germany-based opportunity).
17. Skilled in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power Bi is beneficial but not required.
18. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time internship/placement position, targeting a duration of 12 months (requirement for UK-based internship position).
This position can be based at our Cheadle (Manchester area, UK) or Waldbronn (Karlsruhe area, Germany) office.
