Justteachers are currently on the look-out for a friendly and dedicated Learning Support Assistant/TA to work within a large Secondary school in the Boston area. This is a full-time (32.5hours) role and is due to commence ASAP until July 2025. The school are looking for a strong team player, who builds good rapport with both students and other staff and can provide excellent care to students with additional needs. The school are keen to hear from both educational and care professionals, who have recent experience working 1:1 with SEN. Key responsibilities: Work 1:1 with students across KS3-KS5 with additional needs Help support the main class teacher across a number of subjects Create and deliver leaning activities inline with the childs EHCP Assessment and tracking of students progress What we are looking for: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support, that can be referenced A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting childrens individual needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff. A strong understanding of child development and strategies to support children with autism. Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are desirable.
