Are you a detail-oriented Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper looking for a dynamic and creative work environment? Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their vibrant team in the heart of Guildford! This role offers hybrid flexibility, in a stunning office space within a fun and creative workspace!
Key responsibilities:
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
* Checking supplier invoices against purchase orders and processing them
* Posting and allocating debtor receipts and allocating creditor payments on Xero
* Performing bank reconciliations
* Handling petty cash reconciliations
* Assisting with month-end duties
Office & Team Support:
* Helping organise team get-togethers, monthly breakfasts, and team lunches
* Monitoring and ordering office stationery
* Providing general administrative support to the team as needed
Qualifications:
* Experience with VAT returns, reconciliations, and financial processes
* A proactive and organised approach
* Someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and creative environment
