We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join an award-winning Asset Management Team.
The naming of streets and numbering of properties is a statutory function for local authorities.
The Council has legal powers to allocate names and numbers and ensure that the allocated name and number is correct and clearly displayed on residential and commercial property.
This role is responsible for the team that maintains the council’s LLPG, which is our definitive address database. It records the official location and address information relating to land and properties in the East Riding including non-postal buildings.
The role is required to provide technical, information, and data support to the Asset Strategy service to assist in the provision of an effective and efficient Strategic Asset Service for the East Riding of Yorkshire and to support the Strategic Asset Service in the provision and management of a Local Land & Property Gazetteer in accordance with the Councils e-Government targets and the Community aims of the Council of being a Well Managed Authority.
The role also has responsibility for maintaining the LLPG's Gold standard award, which the Council has successfully maintained for several years.
