My client is currently recruiting for a Site Manager in the Livingston area.
This is to work on a Highways project including work with bridges, concrete, and shuttering joinery.
This is an ongoing role paying £350 a day outside IR35.
Responsibilities:
1. Project management: Overseeing the project from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
2. Safety: Ensuring that the project is safe for all workers and that safety regulations are followed.
3. Quality control: Conducting inspections to ensure the project meets quality standards and matches the design.
4. Communication: Working with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
5. Team management: Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors.
6. Problem solving: Addressing issues and delays as they arise.
7. Documentation: Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
8. Budget and cost monitoring: Tracking costs and budgets to ensure the project stays on track.
9. Material ordering: Ordering materials for each phase of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates for this role must have: CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS & experience working in the civil sector.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
