Role Overview:
As a Day Fuel Reception Operative, you will be a crucial part of the Shift Team, responsible for fuel reception at the ERF and other plant areas. Your role will involve traffic management, operating heavy plant machinery (including overhead cranes, forklift trucks, and other equipment), and ensuring efficient waste movements. Additional responsibilities may include weighbridge operation, plant checks, site cleaning, and Tipping Hall management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage traffic flow and fuel reception processes at the ERF.
Operate heavy plant machinery, including cranes and forklift trucks.
Conduct weighbridge operations, plant checks, and general site maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, risk assessments, and permits for work.
Handle waste movements and bulky materials, particularly during peak periods.
Key Requirements:
Experience in operating mobile plant machinery (preferably from a construction background).
Lifting/Slinging, plant, or FLT certification (desirable).
Understanding of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
Engineering, Technical, or Operational qualifications (desirable).
Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability.
