Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager - London Transport Museum (LTM)
Salary: £32,730 to £36,000
Location: Leicester Square

Position Type: Full Time
Hybrid Working: This role enables a balance of 50 percent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.

Overview of Project/Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will develop and deliver the Museum’s online marketing strategy to meet LTM's targets for income and visitor participation. Responsibilities include commissioning content for the Museum’s digital channels, including the LTM website, email communication, digital advertising, social media, and blogger outreach.
Key Accountabilities
1. Take ownership of the LTM website, optimising performance and continually developing the website to become best in class in the cultural and museums sectors.
2. Work closely with Retail and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across various websites.
3. Manage LTM’s digital advertising campaigns from research through to implementation and reporting.
4. Identify and commission new areas of web content through continuous dialogue with all areas of the Museum.
5. Create, manage, and distribute LTM’s e-newsletter, ensuring compliance with GDPR initiatives.
6. Evaluate and report on digital activity, providing timely feedback to the management team.
7. Support LTM's Videographer in producing and delivering timely video content.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Skills
* Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English)
* Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated
* Attention to detail and proofreading
* Good general IT skills including ability to use Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
* Competent in HTML, XML, and CSS
* Content creation, editing, and management
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi-task
* Understanding the role of visitor research and social media analytical tools
Knowledge
* Knowledge of Marketing and PR communications
* Digital advertising production (Google Ads)
* Proven track record of delivering successful online marketing campaigns
* Experience using Content Management Systems (Drupal)
* Knowledge of database/CRM marketing
* Experience using analytical tools (Google Analytics, HotJar)
* Knowledge of GDPR and web accessibility legislation
* Knowledge of current/emerging technologies and best practices in marketing and communications
Experience
* Previous experience in a managerial digital marketing role
* Experience in an e-commerce environment
* Collaborative working with colleagues and stakeholders
* Experience working with external organisations and agencies
* Proven track record of delivering results through online marketing campaigns
* Experience in content management systems, email marketing, and Google Adwords
* Experience in a museum/cultural environment (desirable)
