Responsibilities:
• Join a team of engineers responsible for keeping production lines running smoothly.
• Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Fault find and repair electrical and mechanical components
• Ensure all safety regulations and policies are followed.
• Maintain a high standard of preventative maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment availability and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Completed an engineering apprenticeship (City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, or NVQ Level 3) / hold an 18th Edition qualification.
• Spent at least 5 years working as an electrical engineer or technician in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Solid understanding of PLC-based control systems.
• Familiar with using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan maintenance and track repairs.
• Up to speed on all the relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements.
