Job Title: Service Engineer Location: UK Wide (primarily South West & East of England)
This position requires regular travel and occasional overnight stays, with a company vehicle and accommodation provided.
Ensure the equipment is fully operational and meets performance standards.
• Manage and execute service contracts for clients' installed systems, ensuring timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
• Perform mechanical breakdowns and workshop repairs on equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions to restore functionality.
• Assist the sales department with client visits, providing technical support and addressing customer queries. Maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and support.
• Supervise and train subcontractors on best practices and safety procedures, ensuring high standards of work.
• Prepare detailed risk assessments and method statements before undertaking service work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Compile service reports and documentation using MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Participate in the on-call rota, which includes providing emergency support and working occasional weekends as required.
Qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or formal training.
•Familiarity with industrial installations and process industries such as water/wastewater or manufacturing is advantageous.
•Must be flexible, customer-focused, and capable of working varied hours. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• A clean full driving licence is required.
• Based within commuting distance of Andover but must be willing to travel extensively across the UK.
Up to £45,000 per annum with paid overtime.
