Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have anexciting opportunity to join our MusculoskeletalPhysiotherapy services as a full time Static Musculoskeletal Band 5 Physiotherapist within theMalvern Hills Locality. The successful applicant will be at the forefront of expert clinical practice with clinics atMalvern Community Hospital and Upton Surgery.

We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-termcareer as well as flexibility, continual professional development and a widerange of wellbeing and support offered by the Trust. Clinical Support will be provided within thelocal team, which includes a wide range of experienced practitioners, includingAdvanced Practitioners. In addition, support will also be accessible from otherband 5s already based within the trust.

Main duties of the job
The role willinvolve patient assessment and delivery of physiotherapy interventions to theadult population of Worcestershire within a busy Physiotherapy department.
You will berequired to assess, treat and manage a very varied caseload of patients as wereceive referrals from GPs, orthopedics and self-referrals. This will include patients with acuteconditions such as fractures and post-surgery, alongside more longstanding MSKconditions such as LBP, OA and tendinopathies.
We wouldexpect you to contribute to high quality, patient-centered care usingevidence-based knowledge and skill. There will also be an opportunity to assistwith service development and to teach and supervise other clinicians andstudents and help to shape the future service delivery and workforce.

Job responsibilities

* Provide aphysiotherapy service within a defined area, working as part of a specialist MSKphysiotherapy team.

* Holdresponsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of theservice/particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
* Deputise forSenior Physiotherapists.
* Supervise andtrain students, health care professionals, carers and assistants inphysiotherapeutic management, as appropriate. This includes working as a memberof a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Qualifications
* Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy
* HPC registration
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
* Relevant validated clinical course
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of physiotherapy in relevant areas.
* Good knowledge of MSK Physiotherapy clinical presentations and appropriate assessment and management strategies alongside current evidence-based practice and research.
* Awareness of audit
* Awareness of research processes
Skills & Abilities
* Able to provide, review and appraise rehabilitation strategies to individual clients.
* Able to manage own caseloads safely and effectively.
* A positive attitude and able to act on feedback.
