The Role:
Our client a well established interior designer is seeking a highly experienced Accounts Assistant, to join their finance team, supporting daily financial operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. From handling invoices and credit control to assisting with monthly reports, this role is perfect for someone who loves to stay organised and loves interacting with others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Print and log incoming invoices on Xero, ensuring they’re issued for sign-off and updating records once payments are made.
* Process sales invoices and upload them onto Xero.
* Manage credit control, handling the accounts receivable ledger and chasing outstanding debtors.
* Assist in preparing monthly management reports and distributing them to the board.
* Help Contract Managers update CVR forms for client projects.
* File hard copies of invoices and statements.
* Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
* Conduct daily bank reconciliations with Xero.
