Who You Are:
Ground Effects is currently searching for a Human Resources Administrator to support our team in Windsor, Ontario. The position of HR Admin consists of performing all aspects of the human resources functions including HRIS administration, internal and external recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee engagement, employee relations, and internal investigations. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
* College Diploma or University Degree
* 3 years in HR field
* Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills.
* Detail-oriented, must be able to multi-task.
* Maintain a valid US Driver’s License.
* Must be Bilingual - Spanish.
* Experience with HRIS systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* HRIS administration functions and training of the system.
* Review timecards for accurate hours and time off codes.
* Attendance record keeping and maintenance.
* Vacation tracking and management.
* Assist with recruitment functions, job posting, conducting interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
* Create offer letters, status change, promotion, demotion, and layoff letters.
* Coordinate with Temp Agencies as required.
* Conduct or assist with monthly training requirements.
* Orientation functions for new employees.
* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding employment law and employee records.
* Assist Benefits department with WSIB / STD / LTD leaves.
* Assist with employee relations and engagement.
* Order and manage inventory of all engagement items.
* Promote and participate in employee engagement activities.
* Assist Health and Safety Team with training and scheduling.
