We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Headteacher, ideally with experience in SEND, to join our team.
In this vital leadership role, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive excellence in teaching and learning across the school, ensuring that every child receives the best possible education and support.

The post will include 4 full days of teaching and one day leadership and PPA time.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Successful applicants should have:
1. The relevant degree and QTS
2. Proven highly successful teaching experience
3. Leadership experience
4. Experience of curriculum planning, implementation, assessing and recording
5. Understanding of the key characteristics of an effective learning environment
6. Ability to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice and articulate what constitutes effective teaching and learning within your phase
7. Ability to inspire, lead and motivate children and staff, being an exemplary practitioner who leads by example with high standards
8. Ability to influence the quality of teaching and learning
9. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
You should:
1. Be driven by values and able to articulate significant evidence of relational leadership
2. Have strong leadership skills that result in the provision of first-class teaching and learning opportunities for all pupils
3. Have the ability to maintain confidentiality
4. Have commitment to personal and professional development
5. Possess excellent interpersonal skills
6. Be passionate about improving the quality of provision for all children
7. Ideally, have some experience of SEND
