Exciting times here at Adler & Allan, we are looking for two Technical Sales Managers dedicated to our Jet Aire business and becoming extended members of the Adler & Allan commercial function!
This role will be split 50/50 between account management & new business so you will be required to develop, implement and deliver an agile annual strategic sales plan which is focused on high growth potential sectors and customers and that supports the needs of the businesses.
Key to success will be to provide excellent care of current customers and support them in being compliant with their environmental needs and, as a result, growing business with them. Success also comes from securing new business by proactively hunting for new works opportunities with new customers.
We can see this role being home based, where you will be out with customers for around three days, on site for one and home one day a week. You will have two sales support employees to manage also on a daily basis.
More about the role:
Managing the key stakeholder and contract relationships of a portfolio regular spending accounts including conducting periodic contract and relationship reviews
Win and account manage contracted and non-contracted sales, gross margin, and EBITDA growth targets through the securing of recurring work programmes as well as additions to services scope
Meet activity and outcome KPIs jointly defined by yourself and your manager as suitable for achieving growth objectives
Build and manage a growth pipeline that is visible and clearly reported and use this to support the company forecasting process
Manage process of significant bids and tenders personally and using group commercial resources
Lead new contract and contract renewal negotiations
Oversee the timely delivery of accurate and competitive customer quotations
Collaborate well and work closely with the Operations teams to ensure the smooth running of jobs/projects.
Proactively engage in market awareness campaigns supported by the group marketing function
Develop and convert a strong validated pipeline of realisable suspect and prospect opportunities into realised invoiced work quickly and efficiently.
Closely manage the aged debt of defined customers within the defined market sector.
More about you:
You will be bringing in depth proven successful sales or account management experience in business-to-business services and solutions; environmental and/or energy infrastructure experience a benefit (FM / Construction type industries would also be considered)
One of your main fortes will be the ability to create bespoke solutions based on customer needs from the suite of solutions and services with demonstrable proven ability to successfully manage the implementation of services/solutions.
