Role Responsibilities:
* Support the learning and development of pupils with special educational needs, in both group and one-to-one settings.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
* Provide care and encouragement to pupils, helping them develop independence and confidence.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress to inform teaching strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Relevant experience in education or childcare is desirable but not essential; applications are welcomed from individuals with varying levels of experience, including those new to the profession.
* A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing professional development.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo the process).
