Job Summary: Job Description: Analytics Implementation Architect At a glance Working pattern/flexible working - e.g. This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London Head Office. The Analytics Implementation team aims for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this. Contract type - Permanent. About the role: This important role ensures that John Lewis Online has a robust and comprehensive data capture environment. The Analytics Implementation Architect works with product and other business teams to understand requirements, and designs and develops customised JavaScript for analytics and tracking. They work with developers, insight analysts, data scientists, and third parties to implement and deploy analytics across web and apps. This role requires someone able to understand website technologies and architecture, online business models and strategy. This is an excellent growth opportunity for someone with strong JavaScript skills and passionate about coding and data to deepen their experience with digital analytics and marketing platforms in one of the UK's largest online retailers. Consult with various product teams and stakeholders to create plans for technical implementations that will provide them with the knowledge they need Creating events, and tags (using JavaScript) for various customer journeys to provide insights specific to team needs Form a deep understanding of the data landscape, including several services, tools and 3rd party integrations ; document, consult, improve and maintain data integrity. Work with your implementation team colleagues to provide a responsive, first-rate service, and proactively review, fix, and improve tagging Learning and implementing new technologies and practices such as server side tagging Managing integrations with third party tools and platforms, working with tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Ensighten Tag Manager etc. Essential skills you’ll need: Technical skills: Experience with data collection for various CRO and Marketing platforms such as: Monetate, Content Square, Tableau, Google Marketing Platform Demonstrable experience in the analytics implementation domain, or relevant fields. In depth knowledge of Adobe and/or Google Analytics reporting capabilities. Hands on production level Javascript coding experience Non - technical skills: Clear communicator with strong verbal and written skills Ability to prioritise workflow and handle multiple competing and changing priorities Ability to perform effectively without supervision adhering to ongoing deadlines where applicable Analytical skills – demonstrable experience of gathering business requirements, developing appropriate analysis and delivery of actionable results Experience in agile delivery practices : ceremonies, acceptance criteria, owning delivery through to production An understanding of GDPR, privacy and data governance principles.
