Position: Finance Analyst
Salary: Up to £43,000
Location: Llandudno (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
Role Overview:
The Finance Analyst will be instrumental in assisting the Finance Business Partner by refining sales analysis, financial reporting, and commercial decision-making processes. This position aims to enhance reporting precision, develop financial models, and deliver actionable insights to boost business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain weekly sales reports and KPI dashboards for senior management.
2. Assist the Finance Business Partner in evaluating sales performance and identifying significant trends.
3. Offer data-driven insights to enhance regional business performance.
4. Create financial models and reporting structures to support new store evaluations, sales performance, and bonus schemes.
5. Aid in the development and automation of reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
6. Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to implement new financial models and streamline data analysis.
7. Identify and address inefficiencies in existing reporting processes.
8. Provide actionable insights to the Sales Director and Commercial Teams to support strategic decisions.
9. Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
10. Support business cases for new initiatives by assessing feasibility and financial impact.
11. Ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reconciliation to maintain reporting integrity.
12. Utilise Power Query and advanced Excel functions to analyse large datasets.
13. Maintain strong system and reporting knowledge, continuously improving data accessibility for decision-makers.
