Finance Administrator – Fixed Term Contract Home based £22,542 We’re currently looking for someone to join the overpayment recovery team that supports the Teachers' pensions contract on a fixed term contract to October 2025. No previous pensions or finance experience is essential, most importantly if you’re a pro-active self-starter that is confident in their approach and able to manage their workload we would like to speak to you. You will demonstrate strong computer and administration skills and have a passion for providing good customer service through emails and phone calls. Job title: Finance Administrator - Fixed Term Contract Job Description: What you’ll be doing: Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the client’s pension scheme to provide accurate and up-to-date information to help them administer the scheme. Collect outstanding debt in respect of overpayments due to be returned to the scheme, maintain the debt ledger for accurate accounting, and issue monthly reports to our clients. Complete administration duties accurately and effectively in accordance with the daily schedule, including handling emails and telephone enquiries. Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring each customer is happy with the service they have received, following Treating Customers Fairly guidelines. Work as part of a team to ensure service level agreements are adhered to. Create and maintain consistent and accurate scheme records and events using the appropriate systems What we’re looking for: Essential Enthusiasm and determination to deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times. Excel – vlookups and data manipulation Ability to meet and work to deadlines within a fast-paced environment. An excellent eye for detail with good written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
