Bakkavor is a FTSE 250 listed business, with £2.2bn of revenue and is the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry. We supply meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, and also have operations internationally in the US and China. About the role. Provide expert audit advice to improve control effectiveness and efficiency. Conduct comprehensive audits and investigations, report findings, assess risks, and ensure corrective actions. Develop, test, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical information systems. Guide the creation and maintenance of standards, procedures, and quality processes. Oversee project deliverables, ensuring compliance with business continuity needs. Lead and motivate teams, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure quality delivery. Analyse audit outcomes and recommend improvements. Act as a 24/7 escalation point, upholding company policies, security, and legal standards. About you. You will have experience applying standards, practices, codes and assessment and certification programmes relevant to the IT industry and the specific organisation or business domain and be experienced in methods and techniques for risk assessment, business impact analysis, establishment of countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services as well as the assessment and management of business risk including safety-related risk.
