We are actively seeking a talented technical sales professional based in or around Manchester to develop business nationally.
You will play a key role within Tennals Compliance (part of the Mayfair Compliance Group) in delivering future growth through securing new and profitable contracts. You will deliver proactive sales, relationship building with existing customers, competitive tendering, and maximising reactive opportunities.
MCG offers services such as Gas, Electrical, Fire and Security, and Pest Control.
Main Responsibilities:
* Source and develop profitable new business across the UK.
* Communicate with existing and potential customers across all regions.
* Target clients across the private and public sector.
* Timely and accurate completion of quotations and other paperwork.
* Creating and maintaining an effective company sales database.
* Achieve and exceed individual sales targets reporting directly to the Sales Director/Managing Director.
* Work within our planned works sales department as a part of our external sales team, completing site survey visits and pricing.
* Regularly report pipeline status and forecast to the planned works sales manager.
* Provide information to the estimating team on completing site surveys so a comprehensive estimate can be produced and sent to the customer.
* Work with high-profile customers, understand their needs and build value to all customers, aligning to customer’s high expectations and budget.
* Provide intelligence and information surrounding pricing modelling, competition and assist in wider sales strategy.
* Liaise with other internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the business.
* Conduct client meetings and presentations, showcasing the value of our products/services.
* Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability.
* Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and deliver exceptional service.
* Forecast and track sales metrics, providing regular reports to management.
* Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
* Support the team by undertaking additional duties as needed to meet business requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
* Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or similar role.
* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of the property maintenance industry is a plus.
* Understanding of market trends and competitors.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Technical Sales Experience.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
* Skilled negotiator with the experience and credibility to operate at senior levels, both internally and externally.
* Flexible approach to travel throughout the region.

* The successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence as you will be supplied with a company car.
