Registered Veterinary Nurse - Vets4Pets Perth
Due to a valued team member moving on to new adventures, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Vets4Pets Perth on a full-time, permanent basis.
About Us
We are a Joint Venture Partner (JVP) run practice, locally owned by our senior vet and head nurse. This means we have clinical freedom allowing us to make the best decisions for our patients. The practice is built to modern, industry-leading standards and fully equipped with everything you need.
Our wonderful, longstanding team is made up of one senior Vet/JVP, two FT Vets, one Head RVN/JVP, one FT RVN, a PT Veterinary Care Assistant, three Client Care Advisors, and a supportive Practice Manager. We also have a great relationship with our Business Relationship Manager, who is always on hand for additional support and advice.
We take pride in our friendly, welcoming, and supportive environment, where teamwork and mutual respect are at the heart of what we do. We understand the importance of a good work-life balance and mental health support, and we strive to create a positive and constructive workplace for everyone.
Our Location
We are based in St Catherine's Retail Park, in the heart of Perth-a lovely city known for its stunning scenery, rich history, and great amenities. Perth is easily accessible, with excellent transport links by bus, train, and motorway. We're just:
* 30 minutes from Dundee
* Just over an hour from Edinburgh
* A little over two hours from the Cairngorms
This makes Perth a fantastic base for exploring Scotland on your days off! Our great location also brings us a varied caseload and a wonderful, loyal client base. We are currently working towards RCVS accreditation, RWAF rabbit-friendly status, The Dog Friendly Clinic Scheme and we already hold a Silver ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic award.
The Role & What We Offer
* 4-day working week, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm (with a protected lunch break)
* 1 in 3 weekends (9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturdays, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Sundays)
* No out-of-hours - Vets Now Dundee covers all OOH emergencies
* 100% small animal and some exotics
* A mix of first-opinion consultations, medical work-ups, and surgery
* Standard 15-30 minute appointments to ensure high-quality patient care
* Dedicated admin time to help manage your workload
We are looking for an experienced RVN particularly if you have a strong interest in consults & nurse clinics. If you thrive in a collaborative team environment, enjoy building relationships with clients, and take pride in providing excellent clinical care, we would love to hear from you!
