Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Cloud Architect to join our dynamic Software Architecture Team. As a OpenShift Cloud Architect at OBSS, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Openhift, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other service providers, will be invaluable as you guide our clients through their cloud journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
* Design and implement cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators, to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
* Develop and implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
* Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
* Provide expertise and guidance to clients on cloud strategy and technology decisions.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
* 8+ years of experience in Software Industry, with at least 5 years in cloud computing.
* Proven experience as a OpenShift Cloud Architect with a strong focus on OpenShift.
* Familiarity with Azure, Kubernetes, GCP and AWSis highly preferred.
* Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified is a plus; certifications for Azure, GCP, OpenShift, Rancher and Kubernetes are desirable.
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
* Strong understanding of cloud security and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
* Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
