* Procuring materials for manufacturing and operations.
* Expediting orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
* Working closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to meet company objectives.
* Handling any supply chain issues promptly and professionally.
* Participating in process improvement initiatives.
* Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
* Reporting on procurement activities and performance.
Profile
A successful Engineering Buyer should have:
* A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Experience reading technical drawings.
* Experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
* A good understanding of procurement processes and policies.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
